Barely two weeks after the Fulani herdsmen attack that resulted to death of four persons in Enyanwuigwe Igbeagu development Centre, Izzi local government area of Ebonyi state which prompted the state government led by Engr.Chief David Nwaeze Umahi to pronounce urgent temporal relocation from the embittered community, but in the contrast the herdsmen operating in the area have paid deaf ears to the oder as they kept on threatening to unleash more mayhem on the people.
According to reports presented by village heads during the stakeholders meeting held at Nchoko Igbeagu, the Royal palace of His Royal Highness Igwe (Eze) Ohbonnaya Michael Ukwa on Wednesday 28th May 2018.
The village heads lamented that despite Ebonyi State government order for the immediate relocation of the herdsmen from the community that the Fulani herdsmen rather went back to their different abode threatening to unleash more mayhem should the villagers dare them.
Our reporter gathered that the Fulani herdsmen still rear their cows and move freely in the community whereas they resort to threatening people who question the reason behind the ignoring the state government order.
