Ebonyi State Join League, Not-Too-Young -to-Run


  --As Youths Battle for ANN House of Assembly Nomination Interest Form.

    Ebonyi State Youths have joined the struggle for political revolution in Nigeria, of Not too young to run bill that was recently enacted into law as two aspirants between age 22-26 years on Wednesday 18th September,2018 picked interest and nomination form of Alliance for New Nigeria, ANN, to contest for State House of Assembly representing people of Ohaozara East and Ikwo South respectively.
  Speaking one of the aspirants,Comrade Samuel Ikechukwu Mmahi,contesting for House of Assembly representing Ohaozara East State Constituency said that his interest arose when he discovered that most youths in the state have been made to think that only place they are politically relevant were to serve as political thugs,stating that such political slavery has killed the common saying that "youths are the leaders of tomorrow.
  Com.Mmahi who described politics as business of sound minds and vision bearers,noted that he was ready to positively change the status quo by liberating his people from unemployment and put an end to poor representation.
He mentioned candidates imposition on people among others as one of the reasons why most politicians do not perform well in power as they always believe that they have power that be who would anoint them to return back to post, describing that as undemocratic.
  He said that the era has gone when imposition and anointed candidates were the one who win election as with permanent voters card the people has the right to choosing either to be slave or be free from political party who recruits looters in the name of leaders.
  He revealed that, though his party may be unpopular, but has the most credible candidates whose public interest supersede their selves desire not like most popular parties in the state that harbour unperformed members,whereas,forced them on constituents.
  Com.Mmahi called all Ebonyi youths not to sell their conscience for money by voting popular parties instead of credible leaders as the paltry payment they would receive during voting would at end be their constituency allowances and projects.
  Hon.Mmaduka Nwambam,contesting for State House,Ikwo South Constituency thanked the party for founding him worthy for the post,assuring constituents of attracting electricity in his area.
Mr.Nwambam while explaining his plan said that he was not ignorant of legislative business and would use his knowledge to romance with the executive by constant reminding them of electricity challenge suffered by his people which he said had badly affected economic growth in his area.
   He said that with his business wizardry that he would introduce youths of his area into business and empower them also,stressing that if enough farm inputs are given to farmers at appropriate time in sincerity that such would boost agro productivity, promising to change the story once elected into power.
  Earlier, the Party state chairman, Nweli Ifeanyichukwu Hillary commended the aspirants for keeping faith with the party,maintaining that the All Progressives Congress,APC, led government of Mohammadu Buhari after assigning the Not too young to run bill into law hicked the party form so as to deny youths of vying for dream political post but assured them that with All New Nigeria,ANN,the old story of politicians recycling would soon be over.
  In their separate remarks,Abani Agwu Okorie,party ward 4,chairman and Edene Dominic commended the aspirants for picking their form in a party who is ready to rewrite the history of Nigeria politics and assured them of Ebonyians giving them surprising support as average Nigerians are tired of political cross carpet and old politicians recycling.
