The Culprit finally confesses
A man simply identified as Pastor Louis who was on Monday night apprehended by security men after destroying the statue of Dr. Akanu Ibiam and Illuminating skylight at Abacha roundabout with sledge hammer has confessed that he was sent by APC members he met at a hotel in Enugu.
According to the the report, he confessed to have been paid the sum of 12M and was sent to India for spiritual cleansing and fortification with a promise to be invisible while doing the job.
"I was paid 12M naira for the job, was sent to India where I spent 3 weeks with an assurance that I will be invisible to everyone before I embarked on the job.
"The arrangement was to use the strategy and bury charms which was gotten from India in the marked locations which include; Spera in Deo Junction, Abacha roundabout, Udensi roundabout, government house roundabout and presco junction but was apprehended before I could complete the the task".
He also confessed that they took blood covenant at the hotel in Enugu to never mention anyone's name in case anything goes wrong or be prepared to die instantly.
Apparently , the governor, Engr. David Nweze Umahi has remained unshaken by the weird tales spinned by the culprit but rather urged security operatives to do their job as his government does not dabble with voodoo or diabolic practices but noted that his mandate is divine and that he doesn't engage in any business or activities that does not have a connection to God Almighty.
