Ogbaga Ties Nuptial Knot in Grand Style

As Umahi, Nwifuru, Others Were in Attendance b> By Nwogha Ndubuisi Andy, Abakaliki Professor Chukwuma Ogbaga,one of the sons of the former Minister of State for Power and Steel and presently the Chairman of Ebonyi State Health Insurance Agency, Chief Goddy Ogbaga on weekend unites in traditional marriage with his heart rob Mrs Ogechi Ernestia Ogbaga.
However, the father of the groom, Chief Goddy Ogbaga advised the new couple to maintain the initial love that made them to marry as husband and wife by avoiding the introduction of third party in their family to guarantee a happy home.
Chief Ogbaga gave the advice during the traditional marriage ceremony of his second son, at Ndulo, Ukwagba Ngbo in Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State. The former Minister who was visibly overwhelmed over the success recorded at the ceremony, appreciated the attendees for their supports and prayed God to bless them abundantly. On her part, the Chairman of Ebonyi Local Government Council, Chief Mrs. Chinyere Nwogbaga called on the couple to make love, peace and trust their priorities to achieve the objective of their marriage.
Mrs. Nwogbaga who poured an encomiums to the couple for their union prayed God to give them fruits of womb, among others. Earlier in his remarks, the Chairman of the occasion, Senator Anthony Agbo represented at the event by the Chairman of Ohaukwu Local Government Area, Barr. Clement Omekannaya Odah observed that marriage is a strong bond between Ohaukwu people and Izhi brothers, saying that it is the third time that their izhi brothers married from the council while in power, describing the marriage between Prof. Chukwuma Ogbaga and his heartthrob as a welcome development and wished them a successful marital life. In their separate contributions, the State Commissioner for Market and Park Development, Pst. Eze Nwachukwu Eze, the Commissioner for capital city development Brr. Onyekachi Nwebonyi the Commissioner for culture and tourism who is also the Mother of the groom, Barr. Elizabeth Ogbaga, member peace and conflict resolution, Abuja, Mr. Aloysius Nwibo, Special Assistant to Ebonyi State Governor SSG's Office, Chief Christ Uchaji and the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Health, Dr. Chris Achi, enjoined the family of Professor Chukwuma Ogbaga to live a life worthy of emulation and wished them marital life that is granded in God and morality while encouraging them to adhere to the culture and tradition of marriage.
Others who spoke included the Principal Big Bird Chambers, Barr. Sunday Ununu, Barr. Nduka Vincent Nwokpo, former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice Ebonyi State, the president general of Oha Izhi Nnodo Eze Sunday Oketa among others wished the family happy married life, peace, love, prosperity and blessing as they pilot the affairs of their family. On their part, the groom, Professor Chukwuma Ogbaga and the Bride Mrs. Ernestina Ogechi Ogbaga thanked those who graced the ceremony and pledged to live up to the expectation. Meanwhile, the event attracted distinguished personalities including, His Excellency, the Governor of Ebonyi State Engr. David Nweze Umahi ably represented by Chief Austin Umahi, the speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru and honorable members, the National Assembly Members, former Minister of State for health Engr. Fidelis Nwankwo, the chief judge of Ebonyi State Justice Elvis Anegu Ngene represented by justice of high court of appeal including Obi Elechi, members of Ebonyi State elders council led by Engr. Ben Okah, members of the executive council, Local Government council chairmen, development center coordinators led by their chairman Princess Beatrice Eze, traditional leaders led by his royal highness Eze Laz Umahi, Community leaders, the clergy men led by the Methodist Bishop of Abakaliki Bishop Lawson Elom, the chairman of Nigeria Union Journalists Ebonyi State Council Comrade Tony Nwizi, the president general of Oha Izhi Nnodo Eze Sunday Oketa and other prominent personalities across the State.
