2023: South East PDP Leaders Endorse Senator Anyim For Presidency

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, South East zonal leadership have endorsed the presidential aspirant of the party senator Anyim Pius Anyim over his competence to lead the country out of wood. This was followed by the resolution signed and made available to newsmen after the South East briefing and consultative session held today at Best Western Hotel, Independent Layout Enugu state. According to the session chaired by former governor of Abia state, His Excellency, senator Theodore Orji, and Chief Duru Iheoma, SAN as the moderator, appreciated the all encompassing contributions made by Enugu state governor,Chief Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and his Abia state counterpart,Governor Okezie Ikpeazu in promotion of the party in the zone. They highlighted the importance of choice of who takes the mantle of leadership come 2023 to have been one saddled with experiences as to ensure the promotion of socio-politically stability and economic development of the Nigeria state. According to their resolution, noted that senator Anyim having assembled members of the party in the zone to briefed them on his wide-ranged consultation thanked leaders across the country for the warm reception accorded on the former Secretary of the federal republic. The party men urged the party for the interest of equity, justice and harmonious national cohesion to zone their presidential ticket to Southern zone and South East in particular. They enumerated that South East has earned the right to occupy the post of presidency and reiterated that zoning the presidential ticket to South East would further cement the trust of inclusiveness of all zones in the management of Nigeria state. The party men congratulated senator Anyim for his patriotism in offering himself for the service considering his faultless track records which has earned him a detribalized state man,consensus builder and a true nationalist. Hence, enjoined other Nigerians to support the former president of the Senate for achieving his aspiration, even as,they assured sons and daughters from South East zone who took similar path with senator Anyim on invitation that they would give their support, hitherto, urged the people to give their solidarity in building a prosperous nation found on democracy, where equity, and inclusion to the benefit of the country.
