Education: Umahi offers scholarship to 222 best students in 36 states, FCT

Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State is offering one year Scholarships to 222 students from the 36 states of the federation and FCT.

The lucky students will be offered admission into various Medical courses at the newly established King David University of Medical Sciences, Uburu. The one year Scholarship is worth about N2.5m to best candidates per state in Pharmacy, Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Biomedical Engineering, Radiography and Radiation Science and Optometry. The Government has already offered a six years scholarship to 14 of her best indigenes to study medicine in the University. This University of Medical Sciences is a product of the Divine Mandate administration of His Excellency Engr Chief David Nweze Umahi FNSE FNATE (Akubaraoha). A statement signed by the Ebonyi SSG Dr. Kenneth Ugballa and Prof. Jesse Uneke Acting VC, KDUMS urged interested candidates to apply through the school website www.kdums.edu.ng. Deadline is January 23, 2022.
