"My Dream Is To Be World Best Player Before The Next 10-Years"-Ebonyi Young Player Pleads For Assistance

BY NDUBUISI NWOGHA, ABAKALIKI The best player of the just concluded Royal Salt football competition in Ebonyi state little Master Ibaki John Chidera has appealed to the state government to improve their effort in promoting football sporting activities in the state.
Little Master Ibaki who said his dream is to be world best player before next ten-year revealed this to our reporter in Abakaliki, Ebonyi state capital. According to the young player, he noted that football game among other sporting activities if given due attention would reduce crimes among the youths in the state. The young player who testified that he's currently playing for Gold FC Nkwagu and eyeing to play in Cantonment United Football Club prayed for assistance as he said that joining advance team would give him the chance to compete with foreign players from where he hoped to meet destiny helper. He bemoaned the high level of neglect given to football sporting activities in the state which according to him has enforced many talented youths in field of sports to take option of menial artisan work after many years of trials. Master Ibaki called on stakeholders in sporting industry to take advantage of the wasting talents in Ebonyi State by investing in the Sector as to harness the opportunity, even as, he urged the state government to improve the sector for the interest of youth development. He, however, commended the Assistant Manager, Royal Salt company in their dexterity to promoting sporting activities and pledged to ensure that his dream is fulfilled.
