Ebonyi: YPP Furious Over Alleged APC's Destruction Of Billboard

BY Ndubuisi Nwogha, Abakaliki The Young Progressives Party, (YPP) in Ebonyi State has criticized the Rulling All Progressives Congress Party, (APC) over alleged destruction of it's Billboard situated at vanco junction in the State capital.

This was contained in a press statement forwarded to newsmen by the State Chairman, Deacon Stanley Oyibe. It alleged that some members of the Rulling Party had stormed the location at vanco junction and destroyed the billboard which cost's the party alot of money. It noted the YPP as a duly registered National political party recognized by the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) and deserves the constitutional rights to enjoy political activities in the State. When contacted for reaction, the State APC publicity Secretary, Hon. Ogbuatu Chidi Simbad, said "Why suspects from APC, is APC the only Political party in Ebonyi State? "I have nothing to say as I have other things doing, thank you." He replied. The Statement reads; "APC AND DESTRUCTION OF THE PROPERTIES OF YOUNG PROGRESSIVE PARTY IN EBONYI STATE, A CALL FOR URGENT CONCERN. "This is to inform the general public on the rampage of hooligans in Ebonyi state destroying properties worth millions of Nigeria in our dear state Ebonyi. "It came to me as a great shock, that an unprovoked group of APC storm part of the state  where we hosted our party billboard and destroyed it beyond recognition. "This ugly development have been communicated to the Nigeria police, DSS, NSCDC and other sister agencies of the government. "Based on this misfortune, may I used this medium to advise the dislodged ALL PROGRESSIVE CONGRESS to stop this menace, at the vein call on the international community and well meaning Nigerians, as matter of urgent call APC to order and to stop disorganizing the state. "The arrogance of ALL PROGRESSIVE CONGRESS to obey court order, that was wide acclaimed to be the best judgement so far have not been acknowledged rather resort to damaging of lives and properties of our great party YPP. "enough of this inhuman treatment against us as a duly registered political party by inec "APC should call their organized hooligans to order before the wrath of the law catch up with those miscreants in the guess of political party. #Enough is Enough." It stated.
