'We Never Tendered Resignation Letters', PDP Lawmaker Reply Ebonyi Assembly

By Our Correspondent, Abakaliki The three lawmakers of Ebonyi State House of Assembly whose seats' were declared vacant on Tuesday have debunked the alleged letter of resignation they were said to had tendered before the house.
This was made known through phone interview by member representing Abakaliki North constituency,Hon. Franca Okpo. Okpo, one of the affected members in her reaction said, the three PDP members never tendered any resignation letter before the house, adding that the issues between PDP house members and that of APC are in the court and described the APC members sitting as illegal. Recall that members of the All Progressives Congress, APC,in the State House of Assembly declared vacant the seats of the three members of People's Democratic Party on alleged resignation of their positions. The PDP house members who were affected are: Hon. Franka Okpo representing Abakaliki North Constituency, Hon. Victor Aleke, Ebonyi West Constituency and Hon. Okechukwu Ali Ishielu North Constituency Briefing newsmen on the development at the Assembly complex, Nkaliki, the member representing Ishielu North Constituency and chairman House Committee on Information, Hon. Chukwu Arinze Lukas said the three Honorable members resigned and it is the duty of the House to declare their seats vacant while INEC conduct fresh election to replace them.
