2023: Ezeudo Receives Ishiuke's Blessings For Senate Ebonyi North Zone

Former Minister of State for Power and Steel, Chief Goddy Ogbaga (Ezeudo) Tuesday, 19th April,2022 received blessings from traditional Prime Minister of Ishiuke Izhi clan, Chief Mbamshi Ngele to contest for the position of the Senate Ebonyi North Zone in the 2023 general election.
Chief Mbam Ngele who is the leader of Ishiuke, the highest custodian of Izhi culture and tradition while addressing the aspirant at Amegu prayed and blessed Chief Ogbaga and called on the gods of Izhi land and the people of the zone to support him to achieve his ambition.
He described Ogbaga as an astute and experienced administrator whose track records of quality leadership would serve as edge among other contenders.
Speaking during the visit, Chief Ogbaga appreciated the custodians of Izhi culture and stakeholders from the zone for their continuous support and assured them of effective representation if given the mandate to represent the zone in the forthcoming election.
He, however, emphasized that the people of Ebonyi LGA is the only council in the senatorial district that had not been given the opportunity to represent the zone in the Senate since the creation of the state, hence, deserves support to represent the party as they have zoned the position to the area.
He further assured the Ishiukes that if given the opportunity he would make sure that job opportunities are provided for our teeming jobless youths.
The former Minister also pledged to ensure enormous issues confronting the zone would be addressed given his experience in the national politics.
