2023: EDON Receives Ishiuke's Blessings For Ebonyi Governorship Race

By Alo David, Abakaliki The apex and supreme council of Izzi Nnodo traditional institution, Ishiuke has offered their support and blessings to the chieftain of the All Progressives Congress,(APC) Arc. Dr. Edward Nkwegu,OFR to contest for Governorship position of Ebonyi state come 2023.

The blessings and support of Ishiuke in Izzi Nnodo clan remained the highest and most effective in the life of the beneficiaries of such symbolic sacrifice in Izzi Nnodo Ekumenyi. Performing the exercise at Amegu,the Ancestral Home of Izzi Land, The traditional Prime minister, Ishiuke Elder Mbam Ngele prayed for the Success of Dr Edward Nkwegu OFR , stressing that nothing can truncate the efforts of an izzi man who is peaceful, humble and sincere from becoming the Governor of Ebonyi state in 2023. An Ishiuke in Ebiya, Elder Okpoko Alieze described Edon as a matured, experienced and valuable Governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congrss APC who has alot to offer to Ebonyi people. Earlier, shortly after receiving the blessings from Ishiuke, Dr Edward Nkwegu promised to embark on economic revolution through industrialization, create wealth and job opportunities for the people of Ebonyi state, if given opportunity to emerge as Governor in 2023. Others called on Ebonyi people to continue to support Governorship ambition of Edward Nkwegu for good governance in the state.
