Just In: Umahi Orders Payment Of Effium-Ezza Civil Servants

By Nwogha Ndubuisi, Abakaliki Ebonyi State Governor, Engr David Umahi Friday ordered for the payment of all indigenous civil servants of the warring community, Ezza-Effium of Ohaukwu Local Government Area of the state.

Umahi made the statement at the Exco chamber new Government House, Centenary City Abakaliki, Ebonyi state. Recalled that the state government announced the ceasure for the payment of workers from the crisis community after the conflict renewal that claimed many lives. The state governor who gave the directive during expanded Exco meeting ordered for the payment of all civil servants of Ezza-Effium and Effium indigenes whose salaries were withhold by the state government since last year.
