Prof Nwuzor Celebrates Ben-Laz 16th Year Anniversary, Tasks Christian Families On Proper Use Of Social Media

Ebonyi Governorship aspirant under the platform of People's Democratic Party (PDP) Professor Adaeze Nwuzor on Monday, April 18th, 2022 charged christian families to imbibe on proper use of social media. Professor Nwuzor gave the advise during the 16th year anniversary of Ben-Laz christian family thanksgiving ceremony at Justice Nwuzor's compound in Abakaliki.

Speaking during the event, professor Nwuzor observed that most parents have badly abused social media, thereby, making it an instrument of destruction. She likened social media to someone who wants to harvest honey, stating that despite its sweetness can still be dangerous if care is not taken during the harvest and appealed to parents to eschew from any content capable of ruining their marriages. Giving brief history of Ben-Laz christian family, professor Nwuzor emphasized that the late justice started the event and made it remarkable before his death, "My husband was on Easter Monday 2006 initiated Ben-Laz Christian family, little did he knows that he will die that year and since then have continue to celebrate the event and would until Jesus Christ comes.

" just like I said, godly children are the people you purposely accepted to sponsor their marriage, baptism,or confirmation and you owe them the responsibility to ensure they're united and continue to live in peace and love. "Justice Nwuzor, my husband had several persons who indicated interest to be his sponsor in marriage but my husband declined after the number we have today to reason best known to him. "So, I challenge members of Ben-Laz christian families who I am convinced they have sponsored many families to go back home and bring those couples together and celebrate with them by sharing in love and unity because that's only way to build love among christians.

The Guber aspirant commended the past leaders of the state for their track records in both human and infrastructural developments. Professor Nwuzor hinted that her ambition to succeed governor David Umahi was borne out of the interest to bring her wealth of experiences into executive position. She maintained optimistic that governor Umahi being a God fearing man and came to power through equitable rotation of power would not truncate the charter of equity and called on women to ensure they obtain voters card as to participate fully in the upcoming general election.

The erstwhile executive chairman of Ebonyi Local Government Area emphasized that women are important for successful administration as they're born Leaders. She appealed to women to come out and contest various political positions as that would give them more opportunities in governance as such had made women benefit alot in the state politics, thereby, making Ebonyi state with four council Chairmen. She maintained that her administration entrench hope for all sectors of the government and added that her ambition is built on God's divine will. She pledged to leave the state with better and brighter dividends of democracy, and called on Ebonyians and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to give her ticket to deliver the state from it's present economic and social quagmire. Also, in his contribution , Barr Iteshi Obinna, the state Peoples Democratic Party Treasurer lauded Professor Nwuzor for the annual go together and challenge other christian homes to emulate the gesture. Barrister Iteshi who's an aspirant of the state House of Assembly, called on parents to culture their wards in a way of the lord for a better society. The event featured mass service, the payment of scholarship fee of some law students, paper presentation, distribution of gifts to the members of Ben-Laz christian families, namesakes of professor Nwuzor and disabled families.
