Breaking: Thugs Clash Left Many Wounded As Enugu South Delegates Election Turns Bloody

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) delegates election for Enugu North/South federal constituency has today turned bloody as suspected thugs loyal to the sitting federal lawmaker, Hon. Ogochukwu Ebo attacked the former Governor,Chief Chimaroke Nnamani leaving many hospitalized.
According to a reliable source close to the duo, the former Governor of Enugu state arrived at the venue of the exercise at around 3:14PM when suspected thugs loyal to Hon Ebo double crossed and denied him access to exchange of greetings.
It was gathered that at the point, some security personnel who are attached to the former Governor intervened and stopped the suspected thugs who pushed one of the DSS officers to gain access to Chief Chimaroke.
Our reporter learnt that the former Governor quickly ceased the suspected thugs who tried snatching the officer's riffle, hence, crisis broke out between the thugs and security personnel.
It was further learnt that the delegates election left many wounded as our reporter observed some wounded victims rushed to the hospital for medical assistant while others scampered for safety.
Meanwhile, effort to reach the Police Public Relations Officer has not yield fruit as at the press time.
