'If PDP Fails To Give Ebonyi North Ticket, Will Loose And Forever Be Their End In Ebonyi-Group Vows

By Alo David, Abakaliki Izhi Agenda,a socio-cultural organization has said that failure to maintain the zoning principle in 2023 general election which stands Ebonyi North Zone as the next to benefit from the system would bring to an end of Peoples Democratic party (PDP) in Ebonyi State.

This was made known in a statement signed by the founder, Izhi Agenda Forum, Comrade Onyibe Jeremiah in Abakaliki. Onyibe hinted that the party which was built on principle of zoning since the inception of democracy in the country and has allowed the three zones to produced governorship position, hence, equity demand that the first to take the mantle after sixteen years should be allowed to held the position of the Governor.

He explained that plan from a reliable source had discussed shenaniganism currently playing to thwart the long practically and constitutionally zoning formula, and said implementing the selfish move would spell doom and bring end to the party in Ebonyi state.

"The routine procedure of established political platforms has always been to throw the weight of its authority behind vested interests. "In line with this APC have kept their promise in keeping to our demand to give Ebonyi North (Izhi) chance . "In consequence, if PDP fails to give Ebonyi North their chance, the party will loose the election in Ebonyi state and that will forever end the reign of PDP in Ebonyi state and will be handed over to APC.
