2023: Tinubu Support Organization Backs Ebonyi North APC Senatorial Candidate , Adopts Nwebonyi As Patron

Tinubu Support Organization, TSO, Ebonyi state chapter led by Hon Enyiukpo Samuel Chukwudi Wednesday kicked off its familiarization visit,hence, adopted Barr. Onyekachi Nwebonyi as patron of the group. The group made this known during the courtesy visit to the All Progressives Congress Ebonyi North senatorial candidate in Abakaliki.

The state Coordinator, Hon Enyiukpo commended the party candidate for his leadership ingenuity and contributions to youth development. He noted that essence of the visit was to seek collaboration with the senatorial candidate as the group project the party presidential candidate, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Bola Tinubu in Ebonyi. The state coordinator added that TSO has presence in the four council areas of Ebonyi North zone and in the thirteen local government area in the state and assured that the group members would delivered their booths in the upcoming general election.

"Today marks the beginning of our courtesy visit to stakeholders of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ebonyi state and we deemed it necessary to visit you because it's from the assignment you gave to me that I found favour in where I am today. Corroborating the state coordinator,the state women leader, Mrs Akputa Onyekachi thanked Barr Nwebonyi for raising a youth leader in the person of Hon Enyiukpo and charged him to continue giving him his support as he carried on with the national assignment.

The women leader further observed that the senatorial candidate shared common uniqueness with the party presidential candidate, Alhaji Bola Tinubu in raising leaders and maintained optimistic that if given support to represent Ebonyi North Zone would do more.

Earlier in his remarks, the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial candidate in Ebonyi North zone, Barr Onyekachi Nwebonyi described Ahmed Tinubu as a capacity leader whose antecedents speaks for him in the recent concluded primaries. He stated that the presidential candidate is a courageous leaders and had gone far to demonstrate it in his general acceptance by over ten northern leaders who stood by him during the election. Barr Nwebonyi hinted that though, the people of the South East had clamoured and expected to win the party's presidential ticket but knowing that party's decision is supreme, hence, called on the people to support Tinubu's candidature as he has the capacity to deliver the job. He called on the people to go and obtain their permanent voter card and tasked the group to continue the sensitization on obtaining PVC as that's the only way to deliver their choice candidates come 2023. He faulted the poor attitude exhibited by majority Igbo people who are traders in participating in electing their leaders and urged them to take fully part by registering and casting their votes in the upcoming election.. While Barr Nwebonyi maintained optimistic that Ahmed Bola Tinubu would win as the president of the country, appealed that he declared state of emergency in the area of security after he's sworn in on May 2023. He also acknowledged unemployment as one of the challenges facing the youth and promised to introduce sincere approach to tackling joblessness if given mandate to represent the people.

In their separate speeches, Barr Isaac Agha, legal Adviser to the group, Mr Wale, state Director on inter religious affairs, Mr Monday Nwenyim, and Maikudi thanked the former Commissioner and senatorial candidate for the warm reception and pledged to ensure that members delivered their booths in various areas. Meanwhile the event was followed with the official adoption of Barr Onyekachi Nwebonyi as Ebonyi State patron Tinubu Support Organization.
