Primate Akam Urges Christians To Be Ambassadors Of Christ
The Primate and Archbishop of Christ the Light Gospel Mission Int'l Inc, His Eminience, the Most Revd.(Prof.) Philip Akam has urged Christians to be ambassadors of Christ in all their life endeavors.
The cleric gave the advice on Sunday during thanksgiving service which was organized to appreciate God for his grace and mercy upon his children, held at the church premises in Abakaliki, the State capital.
While preaching on the topic, titled "Every Distinction Goes With Divine Instructions," Archbishop Akam noted that for one to succeed in life, he or she needs not do away with Christ as such attitude repels Distinction and lead to catastrophe. The Pontiff posited that every true distinction in someone's life comes from God.
He noted that it is time for the children of God to shine in the Lord as God destined every one to survive on earth.
He enjoined the congregation to embrace Christ and expect positive things in their lives soon as life without Christ ends in bizarre tragedy. ="display: block; padding: 1em 0; text-align: center; ">
He pointed out that for one to attain distinction there must be absolute obedience to God, unwavering faith in Him, and building for God inter alia.
Meanwhile, the church thanksgiving service attracted a large crowd of the cream de la cream who came from all works of life and from different locations in Ebonyi State.
