'I was fed with fresh cassava tuber after 3 days without food', Ebonyi Govt House Cameraman Narrates Ordeal

The Ebonyi state government house cameraman,Mr Nwube Uchenna,(a.k.a Daddy Muonso) who was released after three days in the kidnappers’ den narrated how their captors feed them with fresh cassava tuber.
The photographer, attached to the government house press unit, was kidnapped on Wednesday evening, June 7, at about 7 pm along Okigwe/Aba/Enugu expressway.
He was abducted in the area, while returning to Abakaliki, Ebonyi, from Aba, Abia state.
Narrating his experience, Mr Nwube noted that the kidnappers staged at a police check point where they stopped and take victims into the bush.
He explained that he was released alongside other two abductees on Saturday after they spent three nights in the suspected herdsmen den who are six in number monitoring them with two AK-47.
The cameraman said the kidnappers are fulanis who only understand light pigin but suprise as they were always allowed to say prayer each time the three victims sought for it.
He revealed that the third victim was a man who was heading to Enugu state for a prayer programme but was abducted at the same point.
He further narrated that they were fed with fresh cassava and water from the swamp side where they pass their night in an open grass filled uncompleted building.
The victims stated that their release was divine as their captor after negotiation from concern persons who brought some money as they demanded got to the designated point,hence, their abductors phones went off and there was no means to collect the ransom.
He added that at the point, the abductors felt pity for them as they're already looking very weak and directed them to follow a particular path to locate their way to the major express.
Our reporter observed that the victim was physically assaulted with bruises all over his face and matchet marks on his body while his car was badly attacked with bullet perforated the body during the alleged shooting that stopped his car.
