Just In: YPP Holds Ebonyi Guber Primary,Others On Sunday

The Young Progressives Party,(YPP) Ebonyi State Chapter has fixed the primary election for the governorship and other positions on Sunday 5th June, 2022.

In a statement issued by the party State Secretary,Mr Nwamini Roda, in Abakaliki, he noted that the party is ready to ensure peaceful and credible primaries. According to the statement: "The resolution of today meeting.the resolution of the 9th Ebonyi state EXCO meetings help at the party secretariat, after deliberating on so many issues embedded on the special congress and primaries of the party in Ebonyi state resolved as follows:

"Young progressives Party (YPP) in Ebonyi state has shifted the state party primaries to 5th June 2022. "The State working committee, state executive working committee have constituted the sub-committee for the primary election as follows: a. Planning committee b. Electoral committee c. Organizing committee and d. Screening committee "The emergency of the state working committee will hold on Friday 3rd of June 2022 by 10am prompt. 4. screening of the candidate will be on Saturday 4th day of June 2022 at 10am prompt. 5. The primary election will hold on 5th day of June 2022 being Sunday by 12noon prompt. "All the local government chairman are expected to mobilize all the delegates across the state to the venue by 10am dot for the primary.
