Breaking: Finally, Ebonyi Speaker Emerges APC Authentic Guber Candidate

By Nwogha Ndubuisi, Abakaliki The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, chairman in Ebonyi state, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha today confirmed speaker of the state House of Assembly, Honourable Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru as the authentic governorship candidate in the recently concluded party primary.

Emegha made this known to Journalists while fielding questions on the outcome of the long awaited result during the distribution of LGA delegates election at the party secretariat, International Conference Center Abakaliki. The state party chairman àffirmed that the party is ready to deliver candidates of the party at all levels and added that the his leadership would extend olive hand to ensure there's unity among the two factions.

“I never entertain any fear of manipulation because there was no time I did not follow up the results and report of the Panel to a logical conclusion so there is no way anybody would have smuggled in anything, they won’t accept it because our Party is known for credibility, so congratulations to all of us. “It goes to show that thing I used to tell them at Abuja that if you are looking for people that know party administration and politicking, it is in Ebonyi that you will get it, we know that our Governor who is the leader of the Party is a Party Administrator, as such he must follow the rules and that is exactly what you are seeing.”

Chief Emegha expressed optimism that Right Honourable Francis Nwifuru would emerge victorious in 2023 to consolidate on the lofty achievements of Engineer David Nweze Umahi in the State. He urged all those who are offended by the outcome of the just concluded primaries to sheath their swords and work for the victory of the Party at all levels.
