LG Poll: Ebonyi APC candidate, Uburu Picks Nomination Forms

The All Progressives Congress, APC for Ebonyi Local Government Area, Prince (Barr) Chinedu Augustine Uburu has picked his expression of interest and nomination forms contesting as executive chairman of the Area. Uburu, while speaking after the purchase of the forms at the APC Secretariat, Akanu Ibiam International Conference Centre, Abakaliki. The aspirant assured his supporters of an open door policy if emerged the Executive Chairman of Ebonyi Local Government Area of the state come on July 30.
He applauded the Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr David Umahi, whom he said has fulfilled all his promises, especially on his vow to ensure youth massive inclusion in governance throughout his administration. He said that Governor Umahi's passionate love for the youth made him to endorse the Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru to be his successor in 2023. He expressed joy over the choice of Nwifuru by Governor Umahi as his proposed successor, noting that the Speaker's overwhelming victory during the APC governorship primary in Ebonyi, has shown that 'he is the man of the people and best candidate for the gubernatorial seat in 2023.'
Barr Uburu pledged that he would devise the best acceptable means to replicate Governor Umahi's developmental programs in the Ebonyi council area, ensuring all-inclusive government and with full assurance, to make his teeming supporters proud. The event which was honoured by many stakeholders and swarming youth wings from Ebonyi Council Area attracted the presence of the sitting Executive Chairman of Ebonyi Local Government Area, Chief Mrs Chinyere Nwogbaga, other government functionaries, friends and well-wishers. Mrs Nwogbaga and other speakers at the event described Barr Uburu as a resourceful and humble royal model and expressed optimism that if he emerges the next Ebonyi Local Government Chairman would signpost the council area in a grand style in terms of development
