Nwandugo felicitates with Ezza clan on Okeaku festival

Action Alliance Governorship candidate in Ebonyi state,Engr Chukwuma Nwandugo on Sunday felicitated with the people of Ezza clan who celebrated their annual Okeaku Ezza festival. Nwandugo made the commendation known in felicitation message signed and forwarded to our correspondent in Abakaliki.
The former Commissioner for Works and Transport commended the people for their continuous promotion of the culture of Abakaliki people. The Action Alliance guber candidate described culture as the bond that unites family which is passed to generations.
He bemoaned that most of African culture has gone into extinction, hence, emphasized that stakeholders should give more support to ensure that the age Okeaku Ezza festival is celebrated in more colourful way. He, however, prayed that the celebration which ushered the people into new year would bring good health, peace and prosperity among the clan. According to him, "I felicitate with our brothers and sisters of Ezza clan who today marked another historical event, Okeaku Ezza festival.
"Okeaku Ezza festival as one of the most reverend culture in Ebonyi state today among others should be encouraged and be celebrated in more colourful way as seen in other advance clime. "The celebration became pertinent as most of our culture and traditions have gone into extinct which is not telling good story of us as Africans. "I pray that the celebration ushers us into new year of good health, prosperity and progress. "Ge awhaa buru anyi awhaa oma".
