Ebonyi North: APC Senatorial Candidate Builds 2-Rooms Apartment For Widow Rescued From Licking thatch, Laid Foundation Block

By Nwogha Ndubuisi, Abakaliki The All Progressives Congress, APC, Senatorial candidate of Ebonyi North zone, Barr Onyekachi Nwebonyi has flagged off the building of two rooms bungalow for a window, Mrs Christiana Oshianu who was rescued from dilapidated licking thatch house.

Mrs Christiana Timothy Oshianu is a native of Amegu-Onicha, Amegu Community, Abakaliki local government area, Ebonyi State. The senatorial candidate laid the foundation block of the two bedrooms bungalow, hence, directed for quick completion of the house to enable them return to comfort.

He flagged off the project on Friday, 12th August, 2022 with family members and villagers in admirations for rescuing the widow from agonizing condition of yearly renovation of the thatched living house. According to him, the attention of the woman and her plight was brought to him and he sees it as a way to pay his tithe by rescuing the widow from the ugly experience.

He described the gift as a way to appreciate God for his blessings and called on those who have the means to extend their support to the less privileged among them. "My attendant was drawn to the plight of the widow, Mrs Christiana Oshianu and I see it as a way of paying my own tithe by giving her shelter".

"I equally enjoined those who have the means to always look beyond their nose to support those who need their help. He added, "I must commend my father the national assembly APC House of Representatives candidates, Hon Emmanuel Uguru(Agbarike Izzi) and pledged to continue doing our best to give our people sense of belonging.
