2023: Jubilation As FON Movement Inaugurates Executives In Diaspora

Ahead of the 2023 general election, the Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru (FON) Movement, the major support group of the Ebonyi State All Progressives Congress,(APC) governorship candidate on weekend inaugurated its Lagos state chapter executives.

The event which took place at Ebonyi House, Opposite Army Barracks Maryland, Ikeja Lagos state saw mammoth crowd from all walk of life of Ebonyi state indigence. Speaking during the event, the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and Speaker Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru appreciated Ebonyians in diaspora for their contributions to the development of the state.

The speaker who was represented by Hon Victor Uzoma, Leader Ebonyi state House of Assembly applauded the people for turning en mass to show solidarity and pledged to ensure that his administration if elected would turn round economic fortune and called on them to continue representing the state in good light.

Earlier, the newly inaugurated chairman FON in Lagos state, Hon. Chibuzo Iziogo Emmanuel promised to continue taking the good message of Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru and APC across all parts of Lagos state. Iziogo urged Ebonyi people at home and in Lagos to queue behind the divine mandate movement of the state governor, Chief David Umahi who for equity and competence supported the candidature of Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru and pledged to ensure every Ebonyi man in the state benefited fully in the new administration if given their support to the All Progressives Congress,( APC) governorship candidate.

In their separate contributions, the National President, Development Association of Ebonyi state, (DAES) Chief Mayor Felix Amannachi and Women Leader, Chief Mrs Ngozi Egbo appealed to women and youths not to relent in their support for good governance and called on all and sundry to ensure they all participate in voting all round APC in the upcoming general election.

Others who spoke including Hon Paul Nwogha, Senior Special Assistant to Ebonyi state Governor, National President Association of Izhi Nnodo Clan of Nigeria, Chief Edwin Ebili, His Royal Highness, Eze Cyprian Nwekee (Eze Izhi Gbirim), His Royal Highness Eze Augustine Nwego and representive of Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru,(FON) in the 13 LGA's of Ebonyi state.

The newly inaugurated Coordinators of Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru FON Movement Lagos state are: Comr Peter Nweze for Abakaliki, Chief Azik Obia Uchenna, for Afikpo North, Barr Enest Ukpai for Afikpo South, Comr Augustine Nkwuda for Ebonyi, Mr Egbe John for Ezza North, and MrAbu massive-Ezza South.

Others are: Comr Friday Ibor for Ikwo, Mr francis Eze for Ishielu, Mr. Aniki Udungele for Ivo, Comr Iruka mbam for Izzi, Mr 0koreke Okoria for Ohaozara,Comr Fredrick Ituma for Ohaukwu, and Ikechikwu Ogbu for Onicha.
