Ebonyi@26: Embrace Paradigm Shift In Tackling Leadership Challenges,Says Former Minister Of Power

An elder Stateman and erstwhile Federal Hon Minister of Power and Steel(State) Chief Godwin Ogbaga, has tasked political leaders to adopt a paradigm shift in tackling the current challenges facing the nation. Ogbaga made the remarks in Abakaliki in commemoration of the Nigeria@62 and Ebonyi state@26 anniversary and described Nigeria as a great gift to black nation.
The elder Stateman who acknowledged the high level of advancement in democracy prayed for peaceful repose of the former military head of State General Sani Abacha for the creation of Ebonyi state, and commended her past and serving governors for their contributions to the development of the state. He explained that the increase in population has been one of the issues of concern as more interest should be given in tackling joblessness and new measures should be adopted as to tackle unemployment among the youths. He called on the country's leaders who would succeed the outgoing administration to adjust on their priorities by ensuring they embrace paradigm shift in tackling security challenges facing the country. The former minister tasked political elites and the youths to ensure there's room for accomodations as they eschew from hate speeches, and other tendencies capable of spelling anarchy as the country and state advance into preparation for campaigning period. While congratulating the leaders for their achievements, he also opined that more measures shoul be adopted to improve the educational,health and agricultural sectors by introducing digital and mechanized system that would make the system more reliable by the people.
