Breaking: Man slumps, dies performing F-CCT Assignment in Ebonyi

A man identified as Mr Orogwu, (a.k.a IBB) husband to one Mrs Ebere Orogwu, a staff of Ministry of Information in Ebonyi state yesterday slumped and died while distributing money to beneficiaries of the federal government's conditional cash transfer(F-CCT). Orogwu died at the Cabinet office, Government House Annex premises in Abakaliki.

According to an eye witness who spoke to our correspondent on the ground of anonymity, stated that Mr Orogwu was hale and hearty while performing the distribution exercise before the unfortunate incident. She hinted that all efforts to recuperate him was to no avail as the deceased was rushed to the Federal Teaching Hospital Abakaliki.

Our correspondent when contacted on phone the Ebonyi State Commissioner For Human Capital Development, Hon (Mrs) Ann Aligwe whose office is in charge of the programme denied that such report has not gotten to her.
