2023: Let's Unite And Fight Our Common Course-Ebonyi PDP Chieftain

As supreme court in Abuja dismissed all the pending cases against the Ebonyi State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party,(PDP) over its primary elections, Abia Onyike has tasked stakeholders to unite and fight their common course. This was made known to newsmen by the Director, Media and Publicity, Anyichuks GrassRoot Support Organization, Abia Onyike in Abakaliki.

According to the Media And Publicity Director, with the ruling of the supreme court, it becomes imperative for members to bury their aspiration and unite in common goal of returning the state to PDP. Onyike who lamented that the state which was once the most peaceful in the zone has been taking over by anti-democratic policies of the All Progressives Congress administration. "It is now obvious that we have to unite and fight for our common aspiration which is the take over and rescue of our dear state from anti-democratic forces and to put Ebonyi state back on the path of unity, progress and prosperity. "It should be noted that the essence of the litigations was not necessarily power play, but the quest to engender internal democratic values in our great party, the PDP particularly in Ebonyi State. The former Commissioner For Information called on stakeholders and leaders of the party in the state to sheath their sword and work together for the interest of the party in the upcoming general election. "Consequently, our dear leaders, stakeholders, teeming members, and supporters should note that this victory is for all of us. And this is the time to unite and fight our common foes and rejig our patriotic efforts to reverse the slide of our dear state into unnecessary rancours, acrimonies and retrogression. "Let us unite for the sake of the progress of Ebonyi State and posterity. He further explained that the PDP remains a household name and maintained optimistic that the party would reclaime its lost power in the state. "The PDP remains the major political party with a household name in Ebonyi State. "We must, therefore, display our ever burning sense of patriotism, selflessness and pursuit of the common good. "God bless the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP). God bless Ebonyi State." he stated. Recall that Ebonyi state chapter of PDP, has been in court since its primary election that produced two candidates over who's the authentic candidate of the party.
