Disengaged N-power: Beneficiaries Announce 11-Days National Peace Protest

Disengaged beneficiaries of one of the federal government social empowerment Programme, N-power Nexit members Thursday 20th October 2022 kicked off its eleven days massive protest in Bauchi State over the Minister, Sadiya Farouk's failured to fulfil numerous promise made to them. The group who announced the plan for the national protest in their official social media platforms vow to continue the protest till Monday, 31, October.
Appeal to President Buhari and APC led Government to intervene on their issue, the group described the silence of the federal government as purposeful and way of pushing the jobless youth into crime. According to Npower President, Commrade Bashir Usman Gobir lambaste the minister in charge, Ahmed Farooq as the most heartless woman in Buhari cabinet and appealed for adoption of the entire Batch A and B into federal Ministers and agencies.

He added: "Many beneficiaries are dead after going through alot of frustration and high expectation. We would continue with the protest until Federal Government comes to our rescue."
