2023: Court report of myself,Al Mustapha be removed from INEC portal malicious-VP Action Alliance
The vice presidential candidate of the Action Alliance party, (AA), Dr Emmanuel Chukwuka has debunked the rumour making the round of the Federal High Court ordering his removal and the presidential candidate,Dr Al-Mustapha.
According to the statement signed by Dr Chukwuka and made available to our correspondent in Abakaliki, described the allegation as 'false and malicious propaganda'.
Recall that there was a speculation that a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja had ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to remove names of all Action Alliance (AA) candidates, including the presidential candidate, Major Hamza Al-Mustapha (rtd), submitted to it by the Kenneth Udeze led faction of the party.
Also, the report further stated that the court presided over by Justice Z.B Abubakar also held that the electoral body erred by failing to give recognition to the list of candidates submitted to it by Omoaje-led faction.
Reacting on the development, the party vice presidential candidate, Dr Chukwuka called on the party faithfuls and supporters to discontinuance the report as it malicious and false.
The vice president candidate noted that the presidential and himself remained strong and steadfast in their avowed interest to save the country, hence, called on Nigerians to disregard the malicious news.
Major Al-Mustapha Hamza(rtd)
was announced as the presidential candidate of the Action Alliance (AA) by the Independent National Electoral Commission and his name and vice are the currently published candidates of the party on the website of the electoral body.
