2023:Izhi people've all necessary qualities needed to produce Umahi's Successor-Dr Ezeh

Labour Party,LP, candidate representing Abakaliki/Izzi Federal Constituency, Dr Ezeh Emmanuel Ezeh,(Immaculate) has said that Ebonyi North and Izhi people precisely have all the necessary qualities needed to produce the next Governor of the state come 2023. Ezeh stated this while addressing newsmen in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State capital.

He noted that Izhi people have shown much desire in becoming a successor to Gov David Umahi with competent and committed candidates. "In all sincerity, we should be able to take this power rotation turn-by-turn considering the fact that Ebonyi Political foundation was set on that precedent which currently favoured the Northern zone where Izhi man has proven desire to be the next Governor. "Izhi people have candidates who are competent, committed and capability necessary needed to be the next Governor of the state. "Yes, we are clamouring for equity but also have competent candidates. we have been supportive, patience and paid our dues in this course." he said

The Oxford trained Entreprenuer noted that he's not just contesting on the ground of equity after the sitting Reps member from Abakaliki Council Area who will be completing sixteen years by end of the current administration as Reps member but on ground of competence. "I'm contesting on the bases of competence and equity. Though, if there's no competence, then, there's no equity. "This position of House of Representatives has been occupied by a brother from Abakaliki LGA which is one of the two Council Areas that own the constituency for 16 years and it's right and fair, it go to Izzi LGA now. we can't be complaining at the state level and allow same impunity at the constituency level."Eze explained
