8 Madonna University Students Roasted To Ashes At TTC-Igbeagu

Not less than eight students of Madonna University,Elele were reportedly involved in the road crash that occured at Teacher's Training College Junction along Abakaliki-Ogoja Highway. The bus with registration number Abuja ARD 807XA was said to be heading to Taraba from Rivers State when a motorcycle rider rammed into him, an effort to defend the man collided with sienna .

According to an eyewitness, Mrs Nkwuda Mbam, explained that the bus summersaulted and landed on the pedestal and gutted fire. She narrated that for the effort of sympathizers who rushed to the scene, seven passengers were rescued alive. According to her, some of the survivors were able to burst the car screen and were rescued alive, though, got severe injuries.

She further narrated that eight persons were confirmed roasted beyond recognition when the bereaved family visited the scene, but no victim was recorded by the sienna bus. When contacted a reliable source who plead anonymity from Madonna University through phone, he explained that the victims are their students who went on election vacation. He stated that they were heading to Taraba state when the incident occured, but noted that the school management had visited the point of the incident but yet to give record of casualty.

Our correspondent reports that the skulls and other remains of the victims are still inside the mangled and burnt bus while survivors were rushed to hospital in Abakaliki where they are currently taking treatment.
