Breaking: Ebonyi PDP Candidate Endorses Nwifuru, Dumps Party, Ambition

The Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) Candidate for Ebonyi North West State Assembly Constituency in Ebonyi LGA, Barr. Obinna Iteshi on Friday officially dumped his ambition and his party to join APC. Barrister Iteshi made the declaration at his country home, Ekebeligwe Ishieke.

He affirmed that he's abandoning his party and ambition to support his brother and the All Progressives Congress, APC governorship candidate,Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru based on the clamour shown by entire Ebonyi people who have agreed he succeeds the incumbent governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency Engr. Chief David Nweze Umahi on the ground of equity, fairness, natural justice and above all, competency which is evinced in the Ebonyi State charter of equity.

He was officially received and inducted into the APC family, by the Executive Chairman of Ebonyi Local Government Area, Prince Uburu Chinedu. The Council chairman described Barr. Iteshi as a perfect gentleman and his decision as a bold step and noted that the singular action was a round peg in a round hole for the administrative governance of Ebonyi Local Government Area.
