Ebonyi 2023: 'My Popularity Threat To Opposition Candidates'~Nwifuru

The All Progressives Congress, APC governorship candidate in Ebonyi state has described his popularity as a threat to the opposition candidates. Nwifuru made the statement while responding to question on Arise Tv live interview, Tuesday. He described as man made the incessant attack on supporters of his political party in the state that has resulted to the lost of many lives and noted that the evil actions are handiwork of opposition elements. The governorship candidate while reacting on the way forward to curbing the menace, hinted that those sponsoring the attack would soon return back to their business after loosing at the polls on March 18th election. He added that on assumption of office would approach the state assembly to enact fresh law that would help in collaboration with the security agencies to establish security outfit that would guarantee security for all. He expressed concern over drop of service at the state health centers and dwindling educational sector and pledged to revamp the sectors once emerged in the poll. He explained that his administration would not only consolidated on the achievement of the successor who has done well in the area of infrastructure but focus more on human capacity development.

He appealed to the people to vote him knowing that his experience as a two terms Speaker of the state Assembly would serve as an added advantage to improving governance in the state. He, however called on the opposition candidates not to see the exercise as a right to rule the state as the people's choice would definitely emerged at the box.
