Ebonyi Govnship Election: APC Tops As INEC Continues Result Counting Monday

The All Progressives Congress, APC governorship candidate in Ebonyi state, Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru leads in the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, released result on Sunday.
According to the Commission, the announcement of the state governorship result would continue on Monday.
Briefing newsmen, the State Residential Electoral Commissioner, Mrs Onyeka Ugochi stated that the commission has sorted out 12 LGAs out of the 13 LGAs in the state remaining Ishielu Council Area.
"I have called Abuja and we're of the opinion that the Admin section's should head a review committee now.
" They are going to take it from what's contained in the iREV and EC8A , they will go through the result sheets and come up with the result and where it failed to tally, we'll cancel the Local Government.
"We are meeting by 10 o'clock tomorrow. She added.
Our Correspondent who witnessed the INEC results counting from the 12LGAs reports that the All Progressives Congress, APC has so far recorded the highest votes in the total of APC-189,249, and APGA-48,491, whereas, the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) currently has 74,984 total votes.
The All Progressives Congress, APC leads in 9LGAs, while the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA won in Ezza South and Ezza North Local Government Area and Peoples Democratic Party, PDP winning in One LGA.
