The Priest while consoling the bereaved family admonished them not to mourn as their mother is going to a place of rest considering her account while on earth. "There's no time our love one died that we don't mourn them but we should be happy seeing that she lives a life of worthiness. there're saints who died at seventeen years and likes but they live life that we remember them today. "God will not ask us of the type of house, car and all that we have when you were on earth but those good thing we did while on earth. "We'll be reminded that we did not feed Christ, give water to the needy to quench thirst which is what Christ will ask us and many will be denied of heaven because of all these things.
Also, the Parish Priest, St Bonaventure Catholic church Abakaliki and Director Citizens' Advocate Newspaper, Rev Fr Ifeanyi Ogodo enjoined the bereaved family to emulate the good character of late mum who is known to devote her time and resources in assisting people.
"When you look at the biography of Bridget, she helped many by assisting those who are not her children by training them in school. "It's true that most times, those we are helping are the ones working against us and pay us back with evil but don't be deterred. "It is unique each time I see Bridget every morning mass despite her age, even when there's fund drive will not fail to give as much as she could. "We have been good friends and she's good in encouraging people including myself most times watch her in awe and will getting solace from her advice.
