Election: Ebonyi NUJ Chair Applauds INEC, Security Over Professional Conducts

The Nigeria Union of Journalists,(NUJ) Ebonyi State chapter's chairman, Comrade Tony Nwizi has applauded Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC and Nigeria Security Agencies over their professional conducts during the just concluded polls. Nwizi made the remarks while addressing newsmen at Oswa Onwe primary school, weekend.

The state Chairman lauded the electoral umpire for their preparedness in delivering free and fair election and noted that the move has further advance democracy in the country. He explained that though the recent concluded governorship and state Assembly elections was shifted but it gave the commission better opportunity to prepare ahead of the exercise.

Nwizi also appreciated Security Agencies for employing high level of professionalism and added that the provision of adequate security reduced tension associated with election. He admonished electoral umpire and security agencies to uphold the gallantly and professional ingenuity exhibited in subsequent polls.
