Poll: Litigations Against Nwifuru Not Necessary~ Ebonyi Youth President

The national president of the apex socio-cultural youth organization in Izhi land, Izzi Nnodo Youth Forum, (INYF)Hon Ben Nwovu has called on the opposition party governorship candidate to withdraw litigations against Ebonyi Governor-Elect, Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for the interest of the state. Nwovu made the appeal when the Governor Elect received Certificate of Return at INEC office, Abakaliki,Wednesday.

He explained that the litigations against the Ebonyi Governor Elect, Nwifuru not for the interest of the masses who voted on the ground of equity and competency in the 18 March governorship and State House of Assembly elections. The national president who described the recent election in the state as the most transparent, credible, and fairest charged those who lost at the polls to admit to fate and embrace the new administration. "The recent election is the most credible election that has ever taken place in Ebonyi state because in all the polling units there were sincere support and anyone going to court is just for merely academic exercise.

"I enjoin those who contested for the governorship but didn't make it to join the incoming Governor,i know he's a listening type and ready to accept them while they share those ideas on how they taught would have govern for the growth of the state. he said Nwovu who described the Governor Elect as a listening leader enjoined the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA Guber candidate,Prof Ifeanyi Odo and his Peoples Democratic Party, PDP counterpart,Chief Ifeanyi Odii to join the incoming administration by contributing their quota for the growth of the state. He applauded the outgoing governor, Engr David Umahi for his milestone achievements and maintained optimistic that the next administration would do more, hence task Ebonyians to give maximum support to the Governor-Elect as to fulfill his campaign promises.
