Abakaliki North: Defender Commends Electorates, Appeals For Vote

The Peoples Democratic Party, Abakaliki North State Constituency Candidate in the recently held Ebonyi Governorship and State Assembly elections, Hon Victor Nwoke (Defender) has commended electorates for the show of love and appealed voters to come out en mass and vote for him in the 15th April re-run.

It was reported that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC during the day of the issuance of certificate of return announced that there would be re-run in five State constituencies and one federal constituency in Ebonyi. The PDP Candidate who is leading with over three hundred votes in the pulling units counted by INEC urged supporters to vote for him in bulk at the remaining six booths that was cancelled by INEC on the ground of political violence. Part of the statement reads: " The by-election for Abakaliki North State Constituency will hold this Saturday, 15th April, 2023. Hon. Victor Nwoke is leading by 365 votes in the first ballot held on March 18th 2023 and needs to sustain The lead to win. He is appealing to Ndị Ebonyi to come out en mass in solidarity and help him to win the seat for the sake of competence and capacity. The by-election will hold at the following polling units in Abakaliki Urban. 1. EEDC Frontage Afoezuna street 2. Igwe-Orie Open Space 1 3. EBSU Guest House 2 4. EBSU Primary School A 5.
