HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO PEOPLE'S CHAIRMAN In one of my last night's dreams, l was catapulted to a realm where the Angels of the Lord gathered to dance makossa, and there emerged a virtuous mother, the Akajiugo woman and Chairperson, Abakaliki Local Government Council, Chief Hon. Mrs. Lydia Obioma Nwogba, who appeared gracefully to the stage to pour an unflinching encomium to the being-qua-being for his amazing grace and gift of life upon her heartthrob, the 001 and Mmiri n' ezere Ndi Oru 1 of Abakaliki L.G.A, Chief Hon. Stephen Ebere Nwogba, whom God has added a full year to his many years of fruitful and eventful periods on earth. The political officeholders, party bigwigs, business class, solidarity fora, the passersby and indeed the good people of Abakaliki L.G.A and beyond who were surprisingly present at the event were all treated like kings and queens because their presence mattered the most, even though the event came to many as a surprise including the celebrant, as the whole arrangements were made by Madam.

The weather was very chilly and so demanding, as the heavenly bodies greeted the earth with a light but blessed rainfall which marked the significance of the day as endorsed by the Almighty God. However, the role of liquor and spirits in getting rid of the cold weather can never be under-estimated. The royal dance which appeared like a dancing competition between the Action Chairman and Akajiugo woman, his amiable wife did not only add glamour to the event, but also created the imageries of love, mutual understanding, respect and caring for each other which will continue to remain green in the minds of the spectators who clustered the stage to cheer them up during the dancing galore. The glorious songs, accolades, cutting of cake, prayers and goodwill messages from family members, friends and well wishers were the climax of the event. Hon. Stephen Ebere Nwogba (JP) is loved cherished and admired by many not because of his affluence but because of his keen interest in rendering selfless service to humanity. In all, we give God the glory not just for making the event a success, but also because of the hope that the Action Chairman will forever be celebrated for his endearing legacies and selfless service to humanity.
