7th Assembly: Ebonyi Speaker Pledges All Inclusive Governance

The Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Hon Moses Ije Odunwa representing Ikwo South constituency, has pledged to run an all inclusive administration.
He vowed to sustain the peaceful legacies of his predecessor, Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru.
Odunwa who emerged as the speaker of the 7th assembly made the pledge at the Assembly complex located at Nkaliki road, capital of Ebonyi state.
He spoke with newsmen shortly after the inauguration of the 7th Assembly by the governor, Nwifuru.
The Speaker explained that his administration would ensure all inclusive administration.
He emphasized the role of legislatures and noted that his administration would synergize with the executive to ensure policies that promote peace and development of the state are initiated.
The Speaker who promised to maintain mutual relationship with the media, urged members to observe constructive criticism.
However, member representing Ohaukwu South state constituency, Hon Chinedu Onah emerged the Deputy of the assembly.
Others are: member representing Afikpo North West, Hon Kingsley Ikoro as leader, Hon Nkemka Okoro, member representing Afikpo South West,emerged as Chief Whip, Hon Joseph Ununu as deputy leader and member representing Ishielu south, Hon Chukwu Arinze Lucas as deputy chief whip.
