The All Progressives Congress, APC, Chieftain in Ebonyi state, Dr Haroun Ajah has tasked members of the 7th state assembly to maintain healthy synergy their predecessors had with the executive arm of the government. Ajah gave the charge at Nkaliki, the legislative complex on Thursday.
According him, the past administration led by the now governor of the state left a great legacy by ensuring that the house maintained legislative harmony with the executive, hence, witnessed peace throughout his time in office. The South East assistant national Co-ordinator, All Progressives Congress -Presidential Campaign Council, APC-PCC in the last general election urged the newly sworn in lawmakers to synergize with executive to ensure they enact policies and programme that would foster peace and development of all parts of the state. He described the allegation of the 6th assembly as rubber stamp to be watery and explained that legislatures who instigate crisis during their tenure in office end up creating enmity that hinder progress of the entire state.
