Izhi Media Workers Hail Nwifuru Over Appointment Of Member

National Association of Izhi Nnodo Media Workers applauded the Ebonyi State Governor, Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru over the appointment of its publicity secretary, Dr Boniface Nwankwo as Special Assistant on Documentation. This was made known in a statement issued and signed by the state chapter Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ Chairman, Comrade Tony Nwizi and their national president, Sir Sunday Nwambam, on weekend. The umbrella body of media practitioners of Izhi extraction while congratulating the former Publicity Secretary, appreciated Chief Nwifuru for the honour and pledged continuous support to his realization of his campaign promises anchored on Charter of the peoples' needs. They, however, noted that the appointment of Dr Nwankwo was a good step, assuring that he would employ his professiona

l strength in delivering on the assigned mandate. According to the statement, "We the members of the Association of Izhi Nnodo Media Workers happily salute the Governor of Ebonyi State, Right Honourable Francis Nwifuru on his recent appointment of our National Publicity Secretary, Dr. Boniface Nwankwo as his Special Assistant on Documentation. "While we congratulate Dr. Boniface Nwankwo on his successful swearing in, we applaud His Excellency for the choice of our prized jewel for the assignment. It added, "We however assure His Excellency that he made the right choice in hiring Dr. Boniface as he has all it takes to deliver on his mandate with aplomb.
