Accord Party Elects Party Chairman, Others In Ebonyi
--Party Chairman Pledges All Inclusive Governance

In a bid to solidify its structure and prepare for future political endeavors, the Accord Party has on Saturday, August 5, 2023 conducted its Congress for Ward, Local Government, and State levels.
Speaking with Journalists shortly after the Congress, the Accord State Chairman, Hon. Ani Ndubusi Paschal vowed to lead with integrity and ensure that the interests of party members are upheld with all inclusiveness.
Hon.Ani Ndubuisi Pascal who re-emerged as the Party Chairman unopposed, emphasized the importance of working in synergy with the newly elected executives, ensuring that every task assigned to them is diligently executed.
Looking ahead, Hon. Ani expressed optimism about the party's future prospects.
"This time around, we are going to do great things come 2027," he confidently asserted, hinting at the party's ambitious plans for the next electoral year.
While emphasizing their role as an opposition party in the state, Hon. Ani emphasized that the Accord Party's willingness to support any government that genuinely works in the interest of the people.
He stressed that constructive criticism of the government is welcomed, as long as it is aimed at highlighting areas for improvement rather than resorting to mere backbiting.
He stated, "It is when you encroach on our personal lives that we speak out. However, if a government defends and prioritizes the needs of the people, we will lend our support."
He further clarified that Accord is not an opposition party for the sake of opposition but rather evaluates government performance objectively.
Speaking also, the Secretary of the party, Hon. Ufere Ike Arose, declared a new strategy to revitalize Accord. He shared, "We are going to change our approach and employ a more evangelical method. We will personally engage with individuals, spreading the message of our party and its values. This personal touch will undoubtedly foster growth, just like other successful parties."
However, the chairman of the Electoral Committee, Udu Agwu Ukpo, commended the peaceful and massive turnout of party members at the Congress.
Stressing that the overwhelming participation showcased the commitment and dedication of Accord members to their party's course.
Meanwhile, the election was witnessed by the Independent National Electoral Commission,INEC and Security Officials.
