Ebonyi PDP Lawmaker Debunks Defection Rumour To APC

The lawmaker representing Abakaliki North in Ebonyi state House of Assembly, Hon Nwoke Victor Chidi (Defender) has debunked the rumour of plan to dump the Peoples' Democratic Party, PDP for the ruling All Progressives Congress.
Nwoke made this known while responding to newsmen in Abakaliki, Ebonyi state capital.
The Peoples' Democratic Party, PDP elected house members noted that there's no plan to abandon the party and added that the business of the house is to make law that would be favourable to constituents which he's not leaving any stone unturned as to attract dividend of democracy to his people.
He called on the national and state assembly members to focus more on bills that will enhance youth productivity and job opportunity in the country.
He explained that the increase cases of trained medical doctors leaving the country in search of greener pastures in drove should give patriotic Nigeria a concern.
The lawmaker urged the leadership of the upper and lower Chambers of the national assembly to unite in making laws that would attract foreign investors,as to create job and dissuade the jobless youth in engaging in crimes.
He further emphasized the need to enact law that allows easier obtaining of loan as to promotes small and medium enterprises as everybody must not be engaged in white collar job.
He linked the increase cases of vandalization and drugs abuse among the youth to frustration and appealed for change of status quo in the new assembly.
The Peoples Democratic Party member commended Ebonyi Assembly for the team spirit and passage of Ebonyi SMEs bill into law and noted that implementation of the bill would help address the issue of joblessness and restiveness among the youth in the state.
He frowned at the new development in the change of fuel pump price and called on the federal government and national assembly to urgently put into action in addressing the issue considering the spate of hardship faced by citizens.
He also appealed to his people to enroll in craft and upgrade their certificate while pledging to corroborate with concern ministry as to re-introduce adult education in the area inorder to encourage literacy among the non privileged constituents.
