Ebonyi lawmaker meets town union executives, advocates for peace in Onicha

The member representing Onicha East Constituency in the Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Hon. Celestine Ifeanyi Ogba has affirmed the importance of peace and cordiality in the advancement and progress of a given society.
He gave the affirmation when the Oshiri National Town Union executives paid him a courtesy visit in his office at Ebonyi State House of Assembly Complex.
The State Lawmaker in a statement made available by the Public Relation Officer of the Assembly, Mr Sylvester Egede stated that the time of electoral processes has come and gone and that time has come for the implementation of the promises made and to do this, much attention should be given to the cordiality between the leader and the led.
Hon. Ogba thanked the leaders of Oshiri Town union for the initiative irrespective of their political differences and that such interactions will be a routine programme throughout his tenure in office.
In his earlier address, the President of Oshiri National Town Union, Mr. Sunday Okike applauded the lawmaker for holding the interactive session with them which happened to be the first of its kind in the constituency.
He maintained that if the present trend is sustained Onicha East constituency will be a better place to live.
The town union president, mr. Okike thanked the lawmaker for his representation at the House of Assembly and for his humanitarian gestures to his constituents.
