2M Empowerment: Lagos Hawkers Laud Nwifuru, Pledge Prudency

Beneficiary hawkers of the Ebonyi state first batch of the 3billion naira empowerment of the state government have commended governor Francis Nwifuru and assured of the judicious use of the money.
The state governor who during the flag off of the programme announced that one hundred (100) Ebonyi state indigenes hawking in Lagos state would be among the first set in the empowerment scheme warned against beneficiaries returning back to streets.
Speaking, the Lagos state Coordinator, Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru,(FON) Movement, Hon Chibuzor Iziogo who described the scheme as transparent and live saving assured the governor of members prudent use of the opportunity.
He explained that beneficiaries hawkers of the first batch were selected from the thirteen local government representatives of FON movement in Lagos state and enjoined other members who are yet to benefit to be patience as there's still opportunity for another set.
The Lagos state Coordinator commended the traditional ruler of Izzi people in Lagos state, national president of Association of Izhi-Nnodo Clan,Hon Edwin Ebili and other traditional rulers for their sacrifices and commitment to ensuring the victory of the state governor during the election and promised to ensure that every members are carried along in their activities.
Meanwhile, beneficiaries among,Mr Sunday Eze from Ukwagba Mgbo in Ohaukwu LGA and Mgbabu Ndubuisi from Echialike Ikwo prayed for more wisdom to the governor for remembering the downtrodden.
