Breaking:Reps Adjourns Plenary as Sokoto Lawmaker, Danbuga Dies

The House of Representatives yesterday adjourned legislative activities in honour of a colleague, Hon Abdukadir Danbuga representing Isa-Sabon Birni Federal Constituency of Sokoto State in the House of Representatives.

During plenary, the Deputy Speaker, Hon Chikezie Kalu who presided over informed members that one Hon Aminu Almustapha, the Sokoto State House of Assembly member for Sabon Birni South had confirmed the death of the former lawmaker. According to Boza, the federal politician died at early hours of yesterday after a brief illness. The lawmaker until his dead was a member of the All Progressives Congress, APC. “His remains would be taken to the National Mosque for the bathing ritual after which it would be flown to Sokoto for burial around 11am,” yesterday.
