Uguru Emerges As Ebonyi Tricycle Operators Chairman

The members of Tricycle Operators otherwise known as Keke riders have elected Mr Uguru Nwabueze as their new Chairman in Ebonyi state. Declaring the result at the Abakaliki township stadium, the election committee chairman and state Commission for Capital City Development, Hon Sunday Inyima, declared Mr Uguru Nwabueze who scored the highest vote as the chairman, Egbo Ifeanyi as vice, while Mr Nwankwo Uchenna as Secretary.

Others are:Uzor Innocent as treasurer, Nworie Emeka as Financial Secretary, Mkpuma James, Provost 2, Iregbulam Clinton as Assistant Welfare, Ogbonna Emmanuel as publicity secretary. While, Okorie James as Chief Welfare, Chijioke Michael PRO11, Chukwu Godwin as Assistant Secretary, Nwankwo Fidelis as PRO 1, Nwifo Ekene as Chief Taskforce, Effita Emmanuel PRO 3, Chukwu Anthony provost 111, and Enyiogu Patrick as Assistant Taskforce.

The Capital City Commissioner, congratulated the union for their peaceful disposition and support in ensuring the exercise was carried out smoothly by the electioneering committee.

However, in his acceptance speech, the newly elected chairman, Mr Uguru appreciated the people for founding him worthy of being their leader and promised to rule in the fear of God while calling for members support to enable him deliver on the given mandate.
