Christmas:AICON Empowers Ebonyi people in Lagos

In line with Ebonyi state governor's manifesto anchored on Charter of People's Needs, the Association of Izzi Nnodo Clan In Lagos state,AICON led by Comrade Edwin Ebili has empowered over 500 people in Lagos.
Declaring the event open, the national president,Chief Edwin Ebili explained that the event was a way of marking Christmas for Izhi people in Lagos state. Chief Ebili said that the decision to empower Izhi people in the state was motivated by Ebonyi state governor's efforts in putting food on the table of the citizenry. He noted that AICON, an umbrella body uniting Izhi speaking people in Lagos state has carried out many programs to encourage the people living in diaspora to unite for common good.
According to Ebili, "AICON is the umbrella body uniting all Izhi people living in Lagos state and we're happy that every other meetings in the state has come together for us to identify each other for our common good. "This year as we had done in the years past, my Executive decided to follow His Excellency's, Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru's footstep to empower our brothers and sisters who are traveling home as to cushion the hike in transportation. "I'm glad with the turn out of our elders, youths, wives and all our members in different parts of Lagos state and I pray that our subsequent outing will be greater than this.Ebili said. Also, the secretary of the Organization who's also the state Coordinator, Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru,FON Youth Movement,Hon Chibuzo Iziogo described the gesture as a right peg on a round hole. Hon Iziogo who said that beneficiaries are committed members of the Association commended AICON Executive for the great initiative and enjoined beneficiaries to make judicious use of the money. In an interview, beneficiaries appreciated the national president,Chief and his Executive for their transparency and prayed that God continues to use them to touch lives of the people.
