The governor who said that the one hundred and thirty indigent women would be selected across the thirteen local government area of the state added that beneficiaries would be those who are willing to go into Small and Medium-sized Entreprises.
He commended women for their role in societal development and enjoined them to rise up and defend the original culture of the people as to curb the increase of social vices in the society.
Nwifuru pointed out that women are endowed with the responsibility of taking care of the children as they are mostly close to them and admonished mothers to continue protecting the right of a man as head of the family as to build a sustainable peace in their families.
"Once you are a woman and you are challenging your husband, you are giving your husband the leeway to be going outside.
"Anytime I visit my namesake I am marvel how the wife chat and play with the husband. I want to urge you, believe in your husband because no other man is better than him; worship him and you take over the house.
"Nobody is happy to spend his money outside his home, once you believe in your husband, you take over the home and the man will be happy.
"Just like nobody drives joy in beating his wife; nobody will be happy, and I don't advocate for such, but it is good we as men tell you what will make us happy as the head of the family on occasion like this" Nwifuru said
